Atlanta Botanical Gardens

I have been in Atlanta all week, and I have kept myself really busy! After last week in Appleton, WI, I needed to get OUT of the hotel. (There was no blog from there, because I literally didn't do anything).

Tuesday night I went to a friends house in Buckhead, and visited with the two of them and their kids, and had a home cooked meal (this is a big deal). Their kids speak both English, and French, and the four year old thought it was funny that I didn't know French. It was so cute to see them blabbing away in French all night. :) Anyway, turns out that Lara had a pass to get into the Botanical Gardens for free, and it was supposed to be a beautiful day on Wednesday! My friend Marissa and I took off to visit the Gardens, and have lunch. They had a special display/event for the season, called Scarecrows In The Garden. There were probably over 100 of them. All made my groups and organizations, on display for everyone to enjoy. It was such a beautiful place!
