Anyway, I was down in Ft. Lauderdale for a few days last week to visit with my grandfather and Heidi. We didn't do too much during the week, because it's just easier for Poppy to hang out at home and enjoy the condo they were renting. But we did want to go out to dinner one night. So I went to http://www.restaurant.com/ to see where we could go with a discount. And I found this place called LIPS.
Let me tell ya- there were some interesting lips there! With sparkles. We knew what we were in for before we went, but we didn't know how much fun we would wind up having!
There was a 7:30 dinner seating, and our server's name was Choc O Latte. S/He was dating Twat, who was also there serving. They had on the best shoes! Dinner was actually really good, and the place was almost full. All walks of life were there, from teens to elderly. Men, women, straight, gay... it was great. Then after dinner, they put on a show with lip-synching, audience participation, jokes. Poppy was cracking up, and Heidi and I were totally into it. Then they had "Bitchin' Bingo" where you could win free drinks, food, etc.
So, if you're ever in Ft. Lauderdale, go check out the lovely ladies at the best drag restaurant in town!
