Well, I broke my promise to myself. My New Years resolution was to stop shopping. I made it 31 days (with a Steve Madden clutch from Marshall's thrown into the mix for $12)!
I arrive in Philadelphia on Friday. Wake up on the bus and check into the hotel. No clue what is around me. I get picked up with Ted to go do local TV. As we are being driven through the city to the station, I see it... shopping heaven.
I shopped the sales. I only shopped for things that went with leggings and boots (that was my goal). I got talked into buying an overpriced, yet on-sale dress at a boutique. I went to H&M, Anthropologie, Urban, Zara, Arden B, and a few others. Did some damage.
It must be an Aunt Susan thing. I brought it all back to the hotel room, sorted through it, and decided what was in the "keep" pile and the "return" pile. Looking just as forward to the returns and I did the buys.
The boutique dress is in the keeps.

HaHa....love it! You definitely show signs of a very SMART shopper...yessss!
ReplyDeleteI totally do the same thing! Buy on impulse and then sort into "keep", "retun" and I even do a "maybe" pile...if i don't use it/wear it within the next 30 days, it moves to the "returns". drives ryan crazy...he doesn't unerstand why i would buy it in the first place if i am just going to end up returning it. usually i just can't pass up the good deal, and then later come to my senses that I didn't really NEED the item and back to the store it goes! sounds like you had fun though...i have heard Philly has great shopping!
